1. The power of a bedtime routine
Studies have shown that the more your baby follows night routines during the week, the better he will sleep. Consider an evening bath to signal that it’s the end of the day, even if you skip the shower gel, the warm water can improve sleep cycles.
2. Provide the last feeding
Before you and your partner go to sleep, slowly wake up your baby to naturally feed or bottle feed. Then put him back into his crib while he’s still awake yet sleepy.
3. Make it fun
It’s only natural for a baby to refuse his bedtime, children at this age want to embrase their newly found independence and they also major fear of missing out. Consider giving choices such as where your kid would be comfortable to talk. You could as well create a plan together that displays every step of the bedtime routine, this includes, for instance, the number of books you read.
